A final device on our list is perfect for those who value design and simplicity above all else. MODUS anti-barking device is the smallest one of our reviewed ones and the only one that’s rechargeable. Just like the previous device, this one also has both audible and inaudible (for humans) modes. There are three adjustable modes in total: Irregular, Fixed, and Beep. Two of these are ultrasonic, so you could alter between them. This way, your doggie won’t get used to one mode and is less likely to start ignoring it. The third one can be heard by humans and is meant to imitate a dog clicker or a whistle. By alternating between these three, you should achieve great results. Even though we prefer devices with replaceable batteries, MODUS is the best rechargeable one out there. There are multiple ways by which you can charge it, like using a car charger, PC, or a power bank. It takes around 2-3 hours to charge fully, and you’ll get up to 30 days on a single charge, depending on your use.
Design
As we mentioned before, MODUS is the most compact device on our list, easily fitting in a trouser pocket. Even its shape is designed to slip it in and out of the pocket easily. MODUS is also ultra-lightweight, weighing just 2.33 ounces (or 66 grams)! Don’t worry about having to hold it the entire time – this device comes with a lanyard that can be tied to the belt hook or wrapped around the wrist for hands-free carrying.
Ease of use
Even though there are three available modes, it isn’t difficult to switch between them at all. There is one switch that covers it all. The top one is a Beep mode, the middle is Irregular ultrasound, and the bottom one is Fixed ultrasound. So, all you would need to do upon receiving the device is attach the lanyard (if you need to), make sure it’s charged (the green light will offer indication), and turn on your preferred mode. That’s it! Like any device on this list, MODUS needs to be balanced with proper training and commands to achieve actual results, but it makes the whole process easier.

MODUS is an affordable device that completes its purpose well. However, there are a few use restrictions. For instance, it doesn’t work on multiple dogs, it is not recommended for pets under 6 months old or those older than 8 years, and it won’t be effective against those doggies who are prone to aggression. Besides, while it is the cheapest one on our list, shipping costs can be quite costly, so the price ends up being about the same.
